Pre-Season Training

For middle school and high school players we operate a pre-season training camp in August. Many school sports are competitive and having a higher fitness level going into tryouts can mean the difference. These programs are developed with high school coaches to prepare players stepping onto the field at tryouts allowing them better fitness and sharper skills.

For the Goalkeepers: The program covers all basic goalkeeping techniques and various game situations (shots, crosses, 1 v 1, and through balls). We will also do extensive drills to further develop reaction, ball handling, positioning, and concentration.

For the field players: Review basic fundamental techniques and develop new skills.  Focus on player position and its importance to the team. Work on speed, agility and flexibility and the importance of these components as they relate to the game of soccer.

What to bring:

  • Plenty of water

  • Two shirts for training

  • An inflated soccer ball

  • Shin guards

  • Soccer cleats AND running shoes

  • Goalkeepers - bring your equipment

This is a pre-season training camp.  It is intense and physically demanding! It is critical that each participant be physically fit.
